Why do you trust your own introspection more than anyone else's?

Emily Pronin · Perception and Misperception of Bias in Human Judgment · 2007

B · Replicated, size uncertain

The introspection illusion: for your own mind you have direct access and therefore trust what you find; for others you have only behaviour, and therefore infer bias. The asymmetry makes you a poor judge of your own biases and a harsh judge of others'.

ProbeName a bias you readily see in someone else. Write the last time it operated in you, in the same terms.
